Disposition of Comments to SC2 N 3383, FCD 8859-11, Latin/Thai
  1. Israel
Will be YES now (see att. 5)

  2. Netherlands
    Accepted

  3. Poland
Partly accepted, would be turned to YES, after adopting text from the Netherlands

  4. Sweden
Partly accepted. Including Thai rules for combining characters would cause the text to be extended with another 40 pages (estimated). Thus, a reference is made in Annex B, Bibliography, to TIS 1566-2541 (1998) Thai input/output method for computers, where the required information could be found. Thailand itself is satisfied with the present text, and does not see any problem with implementation.

  5. Thailand
Unfortunately, the character names have to conform to those in ISO/IEC 10646-1. The other points are accepted.

  6. USA
    1. Not accepted. The other voting NBs do not share the US position, as appears from N 3383
    2. Accepted.
    3. Accepted.
    4. Accepted.
