There are two kinds of aliases that we should add to http://unicode.org/Public/UNIDATA/PropertyValueAliases.txt

Subject: Additional Property Value Aliases
1. Compatibility Aliases: all value aliases that have ever been used in UCD 2.0 or after. We need these to make sure that new software recognizes values that older software (like Java!) may be using.

- Combining Marks for Symbols
- Private Use // for BMP private use
2. Ease-of-use Aliases: commonplace aliases that are likely to be used or better understood than the official name.
For blocks, that looks like:
- ASCII
- Latin-1
- UCAS // maybe
