The INCIT EB kindly sent me the announcement of letter ballots concerning the adoption of ISO/IEC TR 11017:1998 and ISO/IEC TR 15285:1998 as US National Standard. While we do
not have a formal say on the subject, we can certainly comment. For those members who are also EB members, you may want to inform and advise your EB representatives.

On July 27, 2010, the INCITS Ballot 543 Resolution Meeting was held via teleconference, see doucment eb-2010-01083 for meeting report.

At the INCITS Ballot 543 Resolution Meeting the INCITS Secretariat was instructed to intiate a new INCITS ballot - Approval to Adopt ISO/IEC TR 15285:1998, Information technology - An operational model for characters and glyph as an American National Standard.

PINS announcements for the above standards were announced in the 14 August 2009 ANSI Standards Action. No comments were received.

This public review was announced in ANSI Standards Action from April 30, 2010 to June 14, 2010. No comments were received.
