CLDR Ticket #10301(closed charts: as-designed)

FR: Locale Data: Days - narrow-Formatting

Reported by: raphael.droz@… Owned by: anybody
Component: datetime Data Locale:
Phase: dsub Review:
Weeks: Data Xpath:

in this table:http://www.unicode.org/cldr/charts/31/summary/fr.html#1875
The character 1875 and 1876 express the "narrow" notation (character) for Tuesday (= Mardi) and Wednesday (= Mercredi).

These two characters are identical: "M" and "M" and this is not without causing some problems:https://github.com/tc39/ecma402/issues/146

I would suggest changing that using, for example "m" for one and "M" for the other... (or any other change that make them distinct)

We document that these names do not need to be distinct, they are intended to be used in contexts where they are all shown together so that it is obvious which one is which. See http://www.unicode.org/reports/tr35/tr35-dates.html#Calendar_Elements
