Description (last modified by srl) (diff)

We have an internal request to add the unit of Atmosphere (atm) to CLDR. From what I can tell we don't support it currently.

The standard atmosphere (symbol: atm) is a unit of pressure defined as 101325 Pa (1.01325 bar). It is sometimes used as a reference or standard pressure. The unit is further described here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atmosphere_(unit%29

Use plural "atmospheres"

comment:6 follow-up: ↓ 7 Changed 6 months ago by fredrik

Googling I find examples of both "atmosphere" and "atmospheres" for the plural form, but "atmospheres" seems more common.

Should we also include "technical atmosphere (at)"?

OK, thanks, that is what II used.

No, we did not discuss that in CLDR meeting, and that seems harder to translate.
