Description

http://www.unicode.org/cldr/charts/latest/supplemental/languages_and_scripts.html

There are two entries for using the runic script Runr: Old Norse non, which seems legit, and German de. Latf may make sense, because blackletter isn't all dead yet (or hasn't been for long), but Runr would at most apply to goh (Old High German). No entry is using Latf yet, though, and I'm not sure it would make sense to specify it for gmh (Middle High German) which ended around the time of the invention of the printing press.

By the way, inspecting the LDML file, I first thought this script was associated with the territories where German is not the primary language, but I guess (I have still a lot to learn and) this entry just collects all secondary uses, scriptual and territorial:

<language type="de" scripts="Runr" territories="BR CZ DK FR GB HU KZ NL PL SI SK US" alt="secondary"/>
