[ak] Plural ranges for Akan

Reported by: sascha Owned by: anybody
Component: plurals Data Locale: ak
Phase: dsub Review:
Weeks: Data Xpath:

CLDR’s unit tests currently give this warning about Akan plurals:

[java]     TestPluralRanges {
[java] Warning: (TestSupplementalInfo.java:241) ak	No explicit value for range: other	one	?	one:«da 0.1–1»?	OR other:«nda 0.1–1»?	OR …
[java] Warning: (TestSupplementalInfo.java:258) Template for Akan (ak) translators to fix:
[java] ak	one	one	other	«nda 0–1»	OK
[java] ak	one	other	other	«nda 0–2»	OK
[java] ak	other	one	?	one:«da 0.1–1»?	OR other:«nda 0.1–1»?	OR  …	Error — need explicit result
[java] ak	other	other	other	«nda 0.1–2»	OK

According to Paa Kwesi Imbeah, an Akan-speaking Google employee (cc’ed on this ticket), it should be “da 0.1–1”, because: “the range is not starting from zero and maxing out at 1. The logic for nda 0 is because the concept of zero is the absence of the plural class of thing.”
