CLDR Ticket #11241(accepted data)

Opened 2 weeks ago

Last modified 6 days ago

Characters ª and º are required in auxiliary characters for kabuverdianu (kea)

Reported by: waldir.pimenta@… Owned by: pedberg
Component: main Data Locale: kea
Phase: rc Review:
Weeks: Data Xpath:
Xref:

Description

The need is similar to pt: º and ª are used as short forms (abbreviations) for ordinals, equivalent to the English 1st, 2nd, etc.

Not having these characters in the aux list is causing warnings for the locale.

Thanks for the reply. Before opening this issue I had submitted a new value for that entry, including those characters, in the Survey Tool (http://st.unicode.org/cldr-apps/v#/kea/Alphabetic_Information/), but it requires 20 votes to replace the current value. I will make a forum post to flag the item for Committee review. Am I correct to assume that what you meant?
