  • This is just the timeSeparator symbol, not the symbol in the patterns. And yes it should be fixed.
  • There is already a separate ticket to add a test to catch when these do not match; will look this up.
  • We should make more clear in spec (and charts?) that the timeSeparator symbol is currently not used for anything.

  • Milestone changed from UNSCH to to-assess

comment:4 Changed 4 weeks ago by pedberg

  • Owner changed from anybody to pedberg
  • Status changed from new to accepted
  • Milestone changed from to-assess to assessed

Suggest assigning to me as major for 35; also make spec fix and cross-ref with ticket for test addition.

comment:5 Changed 4 weeks ago by pedberg

  • Priority changed from assess to major
  • Milestone changed from assessed to 35

  • Xref set to 11462 11475
  • Component changed from datetime to docs-spec

cldrbug 11462: fixed the incorrect symbol (by removing it, to inherit the correct one).

cldrbug 11475: is to add the test that the timeSeparator symbol matches the patterns.

So this ticket is just to clarify the spec and any translation guidance.
