Request to add plural ruleset for Puinave

Reported by: fios@… Owned by: mark
Component: plurals Data Locale: pui-CO

Description

Helping the Puinave (pui-CO) community get started with l10n and we'd like to register a plural ruleset (fortunately an easy one).

Rule is
Form 1: 0, 1
Form 2: Else

There are no rules as yet for negative numbers or fractions, the language has not reached that stage of formal linguistic development yet. I'm copying in Larry (on whose behalf I'm filing this bug).

We need more information to do this, including minimal pairs (http://cldr.unicode.org/index/cldr-spec/plural-rules) and consideration of fractions

We also suggest considering adding minimal data (see comment:1)

We have just done a minimal dataset for LibreOffice which we can submit to CLDR too. Attaching.

Regarding fractions, this is not possible. The language has no concept of fractions at this stage in its development of technical registers.

Replying to fios@…:

why has this been closed?

To reopen go to "modify ticket" and there's a reopen button.

But please address the comments in number one and two with minimal pairs.

Got it. Sorry for having missed the request for examples. Larry has sent this example using ut/udot (bone/bones) as an example:
0 ut
1 ut
2 udot
3 udot
10 udot
15 udot
20 udot
22 udot
100 udot
1000 udot
