Language Plural Rules Change for Hawaiian

Reported by: kogakai1193@… Owned by: mark
Component: plurals Data Locale:
Phase: dsub Review: fredrik
Weeks: Data Xpath:

So for Hawaiian (haw), the two categories are correct but the examples inside are not.

For "one," it should contain: 0, 1, 0.0, 0.1, 0.2, …
and for "other," it should contain: 2-9999, 1000000, 1.10, 1.20, 1.30, …

The minimal pairs for each (respectively), are as follows:

"one"- ʻaʻohe lā

1 lā
0.2 lā

"other"- 2 mau lā

1.10 mau lā

Also the new rule is n=0..1

Best is to register for using the Survey Tool, and vote for the new items on http://st.unicode.org/cldr-apps/v#/haw/MinimalPairs/. The names for the ranges are derived.
