Description

On TR#35 Numbers / 4 Currencies [1] / Supplemental Currency Data, the documentation says: "digits: the number of decimal digits normally formatted. The default is 2".

Question:

  • maximum fraction digits = digits? E.g., 1 => "$1", 1.123 => "$1.12".
  • minimum fraction digits and maximum fraction digits = digits? E.g., 1 => "$1.00", 1.123 => "$1.12".

Steven Loomis has answered me through <cldr-users@…> and said it's Min and max. Thanks Steven.

It'd be great having documentation updated to clarify that information.
