Reported by: kristil@… Owned by: mark
Component: survey Data Locale:
Phase: dsub Review:
Weeks: Data Xpath:

Go to Number Formatting patterns for a Bi-di locale (e.g. Persian(Iran)
Select Standard-currency that's approved. The examples shown on the right does not display a negative example.

I checked a few bi-di locales and did not find any negative examples.

There is no negative currency example in Survey Tool for any locales. Pattern from `minusSign` can be used for negative values unless an accounting form is provided.

I need to stand corrected; There *is* an example for negative currency (in the hover and itemInfo panel). This seems to be a Survey Tool issue which causes the minus sign for the negative values not to appear. I filed ticket:8184 for this.

From ticket:8184

It seems that presence of bidi mark affects the sample number and causes the minus and plus sign to disappear (both in the hover and itemInfo which appears on selecting the item). See the screenshot attached.
