Reported by: mark Owned by: mark

Two items from Markus:

  1. take the imports into account when generating the ordering
  2. show the strength difference between successive elements somehow.

This should be two separate tickets...

Charts that ignore the imports are misleading at best about the resulting order, for example for the Japanese/standard sort order and Danish/search. I think this needs to be fixed before we advertise the collation charts as something other than "draft".

Showing charts for private-* might be ok but should come with a disclaimer about their not being intended by themselves for establishing a sort order. I would omit them instead, to avoid confusion.

The strength differences are important for collation -- for example, compare de/phonebook (with secondary diffs for umlauts and ß) vs. de_AT/phonebook (with primary diffs for umlauts and ß).
