ST: drop derby support, mysql only, pre-setup html

ticket:8382

Description

  • drop Apache Derby (embedded) support completely. This requires MySQL support - one time setup, etc. I can make a video on how to install this, there are great installation packages these days. Even ST unit tests will require mysql, but build time scripts can manipulate the test databases.
  • Missing JNDI contexts seem to prevent newer servlet containers from starting up. Rather than boot with no context, move the ST setup wizard into client-side HTML and ask developers to do this: 1. view the local .html in their browser, 2. answer the MySQL setup questions, 3. copy-and-paste the context stub into their context.xml.

the mysql button should suggest ( fans of Unicode, don't look t the next line )

CREATE SCHEMA `cldrdb` DEFAULT CHARACTER SET latin1 COLLATE latin1_bin ;

OK you can look now. The scary part is over.

Replying to srl:

OK you can look now. The scary part is over.

Just to explain myself, without using latin1 and hacking utf-8 content in:

  1. mysql didn't support supplemental chars ( does now, see ticket:7465 )
  2. the "unique Xpath" constraint would fail because it could only verify 333 chars of uniqueness (too short for our Xpaths) instead of 1000.
