CLDR Ticket #8389(accepted data)
se-t-k0-osx keyboard has flipped E00 and B00
|Reported by:||brendan@…||Owned by:||pedberg|
The Northern Sami keyboard has the following in the default keymap:
<map iso="E00" to="ž"/> <!-- ` -->
<map iso="B00" to="'"/> <!-- (key to left of Z) -->
The correct behaviour is ž appearing to the left of Z where the key is available.
If you are using an ANSI (US) keyboard on OS X, the E00 key will be where it is defined. However, if you are using an ISO keyboard (with the extra key), B00 is "promoted" to the E00 position, while the E00 key is moved to the B00 position.
This behaviour is exhibited with both the Northern Sami and US keyboards on OS X.
The problem is that the definitions are inconsistent in the CLDR data. se-t-k0-osx has its definitions flipped to seemingly match the "promotion" behaviour of the ANSI keyboard by default, while the en-t-k0-osx definition does not. I suspect that the en-t-k0-osx is correct while the se-t-k0-osx variant is not.
en-US for reference:
<map iso="E00" to="`" transform="no"/>
<map iso="B00" to="§"/> <!-- (key to left of Z) -->
