incorrect display of examples on Report tab

Reported by: ms_cldr_ko_kr@… Owned by: fredrik
Component: datetime Data Locale: ko-KR
Phase: rc Review:
Weeks: Data Xpath:
Xref:

Description

1)year quarter 1st quarter 2012 2012년 제 1/4분기
quarter 1st quarter 제 1/4분기
There should be no space between “제” and “1/4분기.”

2) to month+1 January – February 1월–2월
Please change “-” (dash) to “~” (swung dash) for indicating the range.
3) night1 00:00 – 03:00⁻; 21:00 – 24:00⁻ 1:30 at night 밤 1:30 밤 1:30 밤 1:30 night 밤 밤 밤
It would be better to classify the time span between 00:00 03:00 in “night1” as “morning1.” Then, the time span for “morning1” should be changed to 00:00 06:00 accordingly. BTW, in “night1”, the time span 21:00 ~ 24:00 can remain as it is.

Our vetter's response:

1) Agree. "제 1/4분기" should be "제1/4분기" without space between “제” and “1/4분기.”
2) Agree. “~” (swung dash) is used in Korea to indicate time/period range.

Need to do some research on 3).

In addition, 1/4 might be better written as ¼.

Replying to kent.karlsson14@…:

In addition, 1/4 might be better written as ¼.

We would disagree. ¼ usually signifies the quantity 25%, not the first sequential quarter of four.
