Tool problem showing wrong values for Turkish compact decimal formatting

Reported by: pchew@… Owned by: mark
Component: numbers Data Locale: tr
Phase: dsub Review:
Weeks: Data Xpath:
Xref:

Description

All other abbreviations referring to 'thousands' show 'B' for the abbreviation for 'thousand'.
The following two are missing the 'B' (or 'bin')

http://www.unicode.org/cldr/charts/29/summary/tr.html#3753 (0K » 0)
http://www.unicode.org/cldr/charts/29/summary/tr.html#3754 (0K » 0)

Without any abbreviation or enumeration, <1,500> erroneously becomes <1.5>, rather than <1.5 B> or <1.5 bin>.

  • Priority changed from medium to major
  • Summary changed from Turkish compact decimal formatting - 4 digits-short-* missing abbreviation to Tool problem showing wrong values for Turkish compact decimal formatting
  • Milestone changed from 30 to 31

The data is correct, so it must be a tool problem in showing the wrong value. Will take up next release (with higher priority)

  • Status changed from accepted to closed
  • Resolution set to needs-more-info

The data is changed in 31. Also, a 0 value alone means "use the normal number formatting". If there is still a problem, please reopen with new information.
