Track down deleted subdivision codes

Reported by: mark Owned by: mark
Component: supplemental Data Locale:
Phase: rc Review:
Weeks: Data Xpath:

Description (last modified by mark) (diff)

When ISO deletes a subdivision code, it doesn't (unfortunately) say what the best new code(s) it should map to. The tool generates a line like the following in supplementalMetadata.xml

<!-- <subdivisionAlias type="BA-01" replacement="??" reason="deprecated"/> <!- - Una-Sana => ?? -->

Where possible, track down the best code(s) to map all of these to, and uncomment the line, eg:

<subdivisionAlias type="BA-01" replacement="BA-XXXXX" reason="deprecated"/> <!-- Una-Sana => name(XXXX) -->

See: "Fix the ??" on https://sites.google.com/site/cldr/development/updating-codes/updating-subdivision-codes for more details.
