Is any space reserve for Indus Script in Supplementary Multilingual Plane? I am starting Vedic Sanskrit revivalist program and using Indus Script to write it. I know there are no font available for this. But if some range is already given to them, I would make font. Proposal to add this was given in previous century :P Did it get some range which is at least reserved for it?

Ranges are never reserved for any character or script. While some editors of the standard do maintain roadmaps for each plane that are publicly accessible, these are for visualization and planning purposes, and individual scripts previously roadmapped can be dramatically repositioned as a script proposal matures. Until a character or script has been officially released for a particular code point, it should never be used to represent any data. Private Use Areas are the only code points appropriate to represent currently unencoded characters.

In the very late stage of encoding a character or script it may be appropriate for implementers to begin preparing fonts etc. using the "nearly final but not yet formally published" code point assignments -- assuming that they have fallback plans in case there are last minute changes and do monitor the final outcome very closely. Such work, slightly ahead of publication, is needed for the situation where implementers want to support a version of the standard from day one. Needless to say, it requires vigilance and an understanding of what can (and occasionally will) change late in the game.

It's a far cry from releasing fonts encoded with "potential" code point assignments based on some early draft. That kind of irresponsible behavior only leads to trouble for all concerned.
