Hideki Hiura is a Sr. Staff Engineer/Architect for GPE(Global Product Engineering) where he is responsible for all I18N/L10N architectures. He is one of the original staff members since Sun's first I18N project, and an author of I18N specifications for X11R5 and 6. He has been working on I18N/L10N at Sun since '89, involved with SunOS4.x, OpenWindows V2 and V3, X11R5 and X11R6, Solaris, CDE, DOE/OpenStep, and Java. Before joining Sun, he was a researcher at Fujitsu's R&D subsidery, where he studied the multiprocessor real-time BSD UNIX-based network operating systems. |
