Juay-Kwang Tan obtained his Bachelor of Engineering, Electrical (Hons)
degree in the National University of Singapore (NUS) in July 1998. He has
been working as a student assistant in the then Internet R&D Unit (now
Centre for Internet Research, CIR, School of Computing) in Computer Centre,
NUS since 1995. He was involved in setting up a Tamil quiz engine on-line
using javascript. See
here. Mr. Tan did a 6-month industrial attachment from Jan 1997 to Jun 1997 in IRDU as well. He completed an enhanced prototype engine for converting multilingual scripts to its gif equivalent. See here. Currently, he is working on the support of Unicode in DNS as proposed in the abstract. |
