François Yergeau - François is one of the pioneers of Internet internationalization. While working in the academic world, he maintained and published an FAQ on using accented characters on Usenet. Having moved to the private sector, in the field of multilingual Internet software, he has been active in ISO and Internet standardization, especially internationalization of the Web, as the editor and co-author of the current Internet standard on HTML internationalization, RFC 2070. François has a Ph.D. in Physics from Université Laval in Québec. |
