Jack Cain has worked in the general area of library automation 1975-1999 with particular emphasis on large bibliographic database systems. During this period he was principally engaged in the specification and supervision of software development activities, particularly those involving CJK character sets. He is a Member of the Unicode linguistic review team on han unification. More recently he has been involved in consultancies involving more general applications especially those involving specialized multilingual data processing. Based in Toronto, Canada. |
