Linus Toshihiro Tanaka is a Senior Technical Staff of Consulting Team in Server Globalization Technology group at Oracle Corporation. He started working for multibyte character encoding issues in 1981 while he was studying in Kyoto Institute of Technology. He worked for hierarchical, network, and relational database management systems, Pascal compilers, and other system software development for 7 years in NEC, Tokyo. After he joined Oracle in 1992, he has mostly worked for Oracle tools products' internationalization, localization management, porting and testing. He is currently responsible for ensuring proper internationalization of various Oracle server products. |
