A Macintosh user since 1984, Peter ran a consultancy firm called "LaserQuill" in Windsor, England, for 10 years specialing in database publishing and non-Roman script issues. In 1990 he designed a Tibetan script font for the National Newspaper of Bhutan and in subsequent years worked as a consultant for the United Nations facilitating conferences and workshops held in India, Nepal, Thailand, Outer Mongolia, North Korea and Cambodia on the subject of Computerization of Asian Languages. He also contributed to the ISO 10646 and Unicode committees on the design of the Tibetan script data encoding. Peter has been with Apple managing the font development group since 1997. |

International Unicode Conferences are organized by Global Meeting Services, Inc., (GMS).
