Unicode Fonts?
Traditional model: single codepage, with corresponding fonts
Extension to Unicode: either have huge so-called Unicode fonts, or manually select small fonts for subsets (scripts)
Neither is satisfactory: Unicode fonts too unwieldy, manual selection a hassle
