Windows CE InternationalizationBill Hall - SimulTrans, L.L.C.
Windows CE (Compact Edition) is Microsoft's version of Win32 designed to support hand-held, palm-sized, Auto PC, and other embedded systems. Unlike many new operating systems, Windows CE was born fully developed with respect to internationalization support. Its best known such feature is the use of Unicode as the internal character set. In this talk we combine presentation materials with demonstration programs to explore the Windows CE development environment, internationalization support, and its use of Unicode. |
