Biography

Waiman Long - Compaq Computer Corporation

Wai-man Long is a Software Principal Engineer at Compaq Computer Corporation in Nashua, New Hampshire. He is also a company representative in the Unicode Technical Committee. He has more than eleven years of experience in the field of UNIX internationalization and is currently the project leader of the I18N group within Compaq's UNIX System Business Unit. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical and electronic engineering. He also has a Master of Electronic Engineering degree from the Philips International Institute in Eindhoven, Holland.

Toshiki Atsushiba is an Engineering Manager at Software Engineering Group in Compaq Computer K.K. in Japan. He has more than five years of experience in the field of internationalization of X Window System, Motif and Common Desktop Environment. He graduated from the Chiba University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics.
