Even though all new internet standards require the use of Unicode, and Unicode has been adopted by virtually every software environment, there are still millions of lines of code still written in languages like Cobol and Fortran or that use older data access methods such as ISAM, and VSAM. How do you tackle a legacy application that now needs to work in a global environment? How do you connect through a web interface into a multilingual world when you application is still in one language and can barely speak English with an accent?

These questions will be answered as the speaker shares some of his experiences in helping organizations convert their legacy applications to work with multiple languages in both Europe and Asia.
