Jonathan Kew - SIL InternationalJonathan Kew studied engineering at Cambridge University in England, before moving into linguistics and computing. He has worked with SIL since 1985. During this time he has applied many levels of computing technology, from CP/M to Mac OS X, to various aspects of south Asian and near Eastern text processing. His main interests lie in non-Roman font design and script engineering, text processing, and typesetting. |

International Unicode Conferences are organized by Global Meeting Services, Inc., (GMS).
GMS is pleased to be able to offer the International Unicode Conferences under an exclusive
license granted by the Unicode Consortium. All responsibility for conference finances and
operations is borne by GMS. The independent conference board serves solely at the pleasure
of GMS and is composed of volunteers active in Unicode and in international software
