Biography

Renato Beninatto - Common Sense Advisory, Inc.

Renato S. Beninatto is a partner at Common Sense Advisory, a research and consulting firm committed to improving the quality of international business and the efficiency of the online and offline operations that support it.

He has served on the executive teams for some of the industry's most prominent companies, most recently as Vice President and Director of Alpnet Inc. and Berlitz GlobalNET, respectively. He focuses on strategies that drive growth on a global scale. He specializes in making companies successful in global markets and in starting businesses that span across borders.

He is a board member of WorldLingo - an Australian machine translation company. He is a long standing LISA Member and advisor; serving on its Executive Committee. Renato was a founding member of SINTRA, the Brazilian Translator's Association.

Renato is a frequent speaker about globalization and e-commerce localization issues. He has made presentations and keynote speeches in events organized by LISA - Localization Industry Standards Association; IQPC - International Quality and Productivity Center; NYNMA - New York New Media Association; NYSIIA - New York Software Industry Association; IIR - Institute of International Research; SIIA - Software and Information Industry Association.

He is a Brazilian native living in San Diego, who speaks 5 languages and has lived in 7 countries around the world.
