Mr. Everette Jordan, Director of the United States Government National Virtual Translation Center (NVTC), will talk about an initiative to translate in unprecedented volume and in an unprecedented number of languages. He will describe how these efforts require the support of Unicode encoders, font designers, operating system developers, tool developers, analysts, administrators, and others in the language technology community.
