Web services represent a new chapter in distributed and enterprise software, providing a way to connect, distribute, aggregate, analyze, and integrate data from many systems without having to write complex custom applications. This presentation examines how internationalization and Web services interact, including the design considerations, current best practices, and emerging standards activity based on the activities of the W3C's Web Services I18N Task Force.
