David specialises in the development of a publishing environment in which Unicode support is a key factor, with the aim of increasing speed of production utilising fewer resources.

In recent years David has been instrumental in the set-up and support of Advent's Japanese distributors as well as being deeply involved in the implementation of Japanese formatting within 3B2.
