We will look at contextual design, collaborative analogies, usability, and cultural spectrums and their influence on good design. We will discuss methods of conducting an ethnographic survey and how to incorporate those findings into the user experience design and a usability study. Much of this material is based on research by the Human Computer Interaction community and workshops at SIGCHI. |
