Annerose Hümbert holds the equivalent of an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Saarland in Saarbrücken, Germany. She has been working at the European Commission as a consultant for several years now. Among other things, her tasks have included ensuring the implementation of the euro sign in the Commission's IT environment; she has just finished a study on the IT-related tasks concerning the EU enlargement process.
