Description

The purpose of the MSARG IVD collection, which was registered in the 2016-08-15 version of the IVD, is to register IVSes that are included as part of Macao SAR’s Macao Supplementary Character Set (MSCS) character set standard, which was published in 2020 (click here for the Portuguese version). Click here to access other documents related to MSCS. MSCS is part of a framework that uses three character sets — Big Five, HKSCS, and MSCS — to define characters used in Macao SAR for information processing and exchange.

History

The first set of registered IVSes resulted from PRI #326, Combined registration of the MSARG collection and of sequences in that collection, whose review period closed on 2016-08-12. The MSARG IVD collection, along with its initial set of 21 IVSes, were registered in the 2016-08-15 version of the IVD.

The second set of registered IVSes resulted from PRI #418, Registration of additional sequences in the MSARG collection, whose review period closed on 2020-09-11. 133 additional IVSes were registered in the 2020-11-06 version of the IVD.

The total number of registered IVSes in the MSARG IVD collection is therefore 154.

That is all
