I have a vague recollection of a proposal a while back to Syriac in
Unicode. Does anyone know the status of this? There has been some
interest expressed in this. George Kiraz of Bell Labs is implementing
some Syriac software, and would like to see it encoded. Can someone
apprise George and I of the status of this proposal?
