Some improvements were made to the Arabic24 font. It is available at:

  ftp://crl.nmsu.edu/CLR/multiling/arabic/fonts/arabic24.tar.gz

Here is the list of changes:

o Added the following missing glyph:

E6B2 ARABIC LETTER U WITH HAMZA ABOVE FINAL FORM

o Added the following glyphs for applications generating text for Omega:

E6D0 ARABIC LIGATURE LAM SMALL V WITH ALEF ISOLATED FORM
E6D1 ARABIC LIGATURE LAM SMALL V WITH ALEF ISOLATED FORM
E6D2 ARABIC LIGATURE LAM DOT ABOVE WITH ALEF ISOLATED FORM
E6D3 ARABIC LIGATURE LAM DOT ABOVE WITH ALEF FINAL FORM
E6D4 ARABIC LIGATURE LAM THREE DOTS ABOVE WITH ALEF ISOLATED FORM
E6D5 ARABIC LIGATURE LAM THREE DOTS ABOVE WITH ALEF FINAL FORM

o Added the following glyph simply for convenience:

     E6F4 EXTENDED URDU-INDIC DIGIT FOUR

o Cleaned up and improved a number of glyphs, particularly some
     Persian and Urdu glyphs.

I think the font now has all the contextual forms needed for minimally
supporting the majority of the alphabets/abjads that use the Arabic
script.

Anyone who wants to contribute changes or additional glyphs, please feel
free to do so. I am by no means an expert on the Arabic script and it's
variations, so there is always room for improvements/additions.

Glyph count is now 612.
