Update on the crisis of Mac browsers not being able to display 
the extended Latin characters (u+0100 to u+017F).  Just tried 
out MS Internet Explorer 4.5 and found that it makes a 
half-hearted attempt to display these characters; for example, 
instead of g with circumflex above, it displays g followed by 
circumflex.  This is not perfect but is much more useful than 
Navigator 4.08's practice of displaying a question mark.
