Subject: HELP on Unicode Conversions
Hello , I am currently developing an application that will need to store and
display foreign characters outside of my normal ascii code page set up. The
application will be client server based with both the database and client
software unable to translate UNICODE directly.
My system will store particular codes within the database and when output is
required the data will be translated and sent to a web browser that can
handle the unicode conversions. Unfortunately this is the route that we have
to take.
The application will only require a sub set of the unicode characters
however my problem is at the client end. I am proposing to write a mechanism
to display the characters in BITMAP form , has anybody gone through the
painstaking task of creating bitmapped images of individual characters from
language sets. If so who can I contact to acquire a copy .......
Kind regards
Danny Kent
