S-P-A-M B-Gone

Dear Subscribers...

Spam may be good food, but these days, as we near the
top end of the 20th century, Spam is bad mail and none
of us enjoy it. (Well, perhaps some of us do...)

I grow tired of forwarding all those megabytes of mail
that I'm sure you don't really need. Therefore, I have
instituted a new policy on the Unicode mail list. I
do hope it reduces a little spam without being overly
inconvenient to you.

If you are a legitimate subscriber, and you fear that
something you posted to "unicode@unicode.org" has not
appeared on the list about 24 hours later, please
drop me a line personally and I will try to remedy the
situation. (It may have smelled like spam and been
tossed out with the used Java beans and irreparable bits.)
Please do not send administrative messages and complaints
to the list as a whole.

I am here always, at the end of the long thin wire,
ready to serve you with plenty of sauce.

Your indefatigable and vigilant servant,

        -- Sarasvati
