A panicking rhebert@rmadden.com phoned the Unicode office today. He is
running Windows 98 Second Edition on his Dell PC. After downloading some
files off the internet, a message box appeared in the center of his screen
with the message "CANNOT RUN UNICODE VERSION OF WINDOWS 95 - INSTALL CORRECT
ATL.DLL"
He says he 's tried everything including re-booting, re-installing Windows
98, etc. to no avail. He finally contacted Dell and was told that his best
bet was to wipe out his disk, re-format it and start from scratch??!!
He chose to contact us first thinking that his problem was a Unicode problem
( this is of course the first time he hears about Unicode and probably the
last)
Before I send him to Microsoft Tech support, can anyone tell what the
problem is.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
