Searching a brief summary on Unicode...

Hi Folks,

is anybody out there, who can tell me a source of
general data, such as:

-how many characters are definitely in Unicode
-how many languages are supported
-how many writing-systems are supported
-how many characters per concrete language are contained
-etc.

However I have the unicode book available in the company
I could neither find a hint to a brief summary in the
contents-list nor in the general index...

Could anybody help me out with a hint to such
a brief summary on Unicode ???
