[unicode] Kanji characters on a LCD display

We are a company that builds electronic equipment. Our problem is to
display japanese text that we got in Unicode format on a LCD display.
The japanese text has katakana, kanji and latin characters.
What we need is a character set that gives us the relationship between
the Unicode number and the display information for the LCD display.
