Subject: Panose

Magda,
Panose is a kind of font classification system.
It defines a number of font attributes, which allow to group fonts by
certain characteristics.
We try to find out, whether this is an open standard in the meantime, as
was mentionend as a chance on some older Panose related web sites.
As a matter of fact one web site assumed that the Unicode Consortium
could be one candidate to manage the standard in future.
Anyhow - could you help me in finding out, who owns the Panose standard
today? Is it an open standard?
