Herr Krojer takes Illig, and by extension, Niemitz to task quite effectively,
in my opinion. The Neimitz paper irritated the same nerve in me that bothered
Markus about the attacks on Illig's original thesis: it smacks of bad science.
Perhaps this is why the "hot and often hostile debate" never really left the
fringes.
