Lessons from Adobe's OpenType library conversion (Thomas Phinney)
Launch of Apple's new XML-based dump and fuse tools (Peter Lofting)
Features of FontLab 4.5, including new drawing & metrics tools (Yuri Yamola)
TrueType hinting for beginners, using FontLab (Laurence Penney & Jeremy
Tankard)
Python scripting in FontLab 4.5 (Yuri Yarmola & Adam Twardoch)
Forum attendees will receive a CD-ROM containing demo font tool software
and documentation from FontLab, Dutch Type Library and High Logic, and
useful Python scripts and resource files from Adam Twardoch and Tiro
Typeworkls, as well as the new Adobe OpenType FDK (v1.6).
In the evening, following the forum, there will be a reception for all
conference particpants on the terrace of the Capitoline Museum, with fine
