We might also hope that within twenty years almost
all new documents will use Unicode. It is at that point
that the benefit of my method would pay off.
It is obvious that you feel that the up front costs associated
with my method are not worth the long term savings.
I continue to feel otherwise.
However, both methods do share a common flaw:
Frustrated Irishmen who would use the dotless i
just to overcome the limitations of the fonts they use. :)
